Hosting an SI for a European client: decide early
Region, subprocessors, logs, backups. If you wait until go-live, you will move the data twice.
For a French or European account, “the cloud” is not an answer. Which region. Which subprocessors. Where logs sit. Who can open a backup.
Write it at scoping
EU hosting is a criterion or it is not. If it is, it constrains the model, the copilot, the monitoring SaaS. Changing region after go-live is a project of its own.
